- Young people with little or no education may be 2.2 times more likely to contract HIV than those who have completed primary education.
"Without education, AIDS will continue its rampant spread. With AIDS out of control, education will be out of reach," said Dr Peter Piot, Executive Director of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
