The newest AVOH school is in the town of Kafue, in Zambia. The town is on the Kafue River and provides a beautiful setting. However, the town is located along a major highway, with commercial semi-trucks traversing the country north and south. The trucker's stop in this town for companionship, contributing to the spread of HIV/AIDS, as HIV/AIDS is rampant in this area. To see more on the effects of of HIV/AIDS in Zambia, click HERE.
Currently, AVOH Kafue is renting a building that was originally built and used as housing by the construction crews that built the bridge over the Kafue River.
